Position Title: Therapist 

Modern Soul Therapy (MoSo), a holistic mental health and wellbeing psychotherapy private practice, is looking for committed and passionate therapists to add to the creative, eclectic community and theoretical framework that MoSo promotes.

MoSo is committed to providing evidence-based, holistic, and collaborative support that is individually tailored to meet each client's needs. The owner is an LMHC in Massachusetts, an LCPC in Illinois, and a Registered Dance/Movement Therapist with the American Dance/Therapy Association. Clinicians with a unique approach and or creative modalities, mindfulness, or somatic work are encouraged to apply, but not necessary. MoSo is open to all theoretical frameworks and will actively support you to hone and promote your own niche within the practice.

Joining the MoSo team would be a wonderful opportunity to jump into the private practice setting without the need to manage referrals or do any billing/insurance, as this will all be provided for you. MoSo is a creative and inclusive space to continue building your skills and your desired caseload while working fully remotely and designing your own flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate empathy-driven individual therapy sessions with clients via telehealth.

• Provide initial diagnosis & develop treatment plans based on individual needs.

• Complete a case note for every completed client session on a weekly basis.

• Provide psychotherapy services to individuals using evidenced-based methods

• Collaborate with other professionals (psychologists, psychiatrists, dieticians, etc) to coordinate care for clients when applicable.

• Safety assess and provide crisis intervention services as needed.

• Maintain calendar and scheduling for current caseload.

• Attend and respond to emails in a timely manner.

Compensation 

Clinicians are reimbursed based on their employment status, licensure level, and degree. Clinicians will be individually supported by the owner to hone clinical skills, build caseload, and continue training within their clinical interests and be provided with biweekly supervision, either one-on-one or in a group, as the practice continues to grow. PTO and CEU stipend, available depending on licensure and full-time status. MoSo welcomes pre-licensed clinicians, ONLY in Massachusetts, into the practice with weekly supervision with an LMHC if needed.

Massachusetts based Unlicensed Clinicians/Interns: ~40% of earnings
Massachusetts based Provisionally Licensed Clinicians (LSW, LPC): ~50% of earnings
Massachusetts or Illinois Fully Licensed Clinicians (LMHC, LMFT, LSCW, LCPC): ~60% of earnings (with the opportunity to increase rate based on experience, time in position, & retention)

The following additional benefits are provided for full-time, fully-licensed employees:

• 10 hours paid sick leave/PTO.

• CEU Annual Stipend.

• Opportunity for individualized support to move forward in private practice, whether becoming a supervisor at MoSo, or guidance to start your own practice. A signed agreement to work full-time for at least 1 year is required before taking advantage of this benefit.

Employee requirements/qualifications and expectations include the following:

• MA Degree from an accredited program, required.

• Licensed as a LMHC, LCPC, LMFT, or LCSW, is preferred.

• Insurance paneled with BCBS & Optum United Healthcare, preferred.

• Fully Licensed in the state of Illinois, or Fully Licensed or License eligible in the state of Massachusetts.

• Full-time, available to work a minimum of 20-25 hours per week, of direct client work.

• Part-time, available to work a minimum of 10-15 hours per week of direct client work.

• Ability to manage own schedule and consistent caseload, including willingness to work evenings and weekends, only if needed to meet required hours.

Job Types: Part- or Full-time, or start Part-Time with the option to move toward Full-Time.
W-2 Permanent Employee.

Pay: ~$50-80 per hour (based on experience, licensure, and work status)
